Proud Momma

Taryn has entered the national K12 art competition every year. There are a lot of entries, and the further she gets along the more stiff the competition. I had high hopes when she entered her latest work for this years competition, because I love the picture myself. Her water color was of her uncle Shane playing his guitar and it was entitled "In the Spotlight". Secretly I hoped she would win, but I didn't want to get her hopes up. She checked her e-mail every day to see if they wrote. A few days ago I got a phone call letting me know she had won. I quickly ran upstairs and announced that she was this years winner, we jumped up and down rejoicing! The lady that called said she would send us an e-mail with the directions for what to do next. The following day we opened the email and it said.... Congratulations on your winning entry "The Hungry Panda". After a heart pounding phone call ... it was all straitened out.. and yes Taryn's entry "In the Spotlight" was a winner. So without further ado...
